Joe Ross - Owner
Joe began his career in residential construction in his teens, learning from his father how to build decks, finish basements, and interior painting. While he went to college, he worked in general carpentry - managing demolition work, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and major additions. Fast forward…. With an MBA and more than 25 years of building, remodeling and renewable energy projects, the establishment of Ross Industries PDX has allowed homeowners and developers to leverage Joe's deep project management expertise and industry knowledge. In his spare time, Joe enjoys all forms of exercise and routing for the Trailblazers and Seahawks. Most importantly, in search of new adventures with his wife Suzanne and four children: JJ, Ellarie, Stella, and Adeline.
Suzanne Ross - Strategy and Design Lead
Suzy grew up in Canada, and moved to Oregon in 2003 to pursue her MBA. Since graduating she's worked for Nike in various capacities, her latest leading a consumer insights team. You could say her involvement in Ross Industries is a bit of a ‘side hustle.’ Her obsession with home and spatial design grew at a young age watching her grandma constantly update the spaces she lived in. For her transforming spaces is about prioritizing both function and beauty. While Joe keeps focused on the big picture, layout and schedule, Suzanne focuses on the finer details of materials, colors, and fixtures while also looking at ways to improve process and the client service experience.
Jimmy Martin - Drywall and Paint Specialist
Jimmy moved to Portland about a year ago with his wife and two dogs. He’s been working in construction since age 21 and has extensive experience in dry wall, painting, tiling, finish/rough in carpentry, and acoustical ceiling. Jimmy enjoys hard work and takes pride in completing a job efficiently and neatly with high customer satisfaction - values he also feels are critical in his company, team and colleagues. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, paintball, soccer, and video games.
Harrison Williams - Carpentry Associate
Before Ross Industries, Harrison worked at a Home Depot in Beaverton. He specializes in finish carpentry but just like the rest of the team he works on all parts of a project. He’s also completing his associates degree in construction. On his days off he enjoys camping, fishing, and just spending time in the outdoors with family and friends.
